My story
This is Doug. The most important thing that his adoptive family should know is that he is the sweetest of sweethearts. He loves cuddles and giving kisses. Doug will follow you around to see what you are doing, but when you are ready to sit and relax he will settle down nearby. Be ready to give belly scratches, though! You can come down to the floor for scratches or hell climb up in your lap like a 50 lb fur baby - he doesnt mind either way! He likes to go for walks and will happily sniff and snuffle along the whole way. He is gentle on a leash and very responsive to your voice. (Always patient while his foster human navigated the recent icy weather.)Doug adapted quickly to his foster home. He is friendly to other dogs and kids. Doug is fully potty trained. He exhibited some territorial marking behavior when he first came home, but that desire should decrease now that hes been neutered. He kennels very well for a treat as long as hes had enough time outside the kennel to exercise and be social. If you watch him when he stretches, you might catch his favorite yoga position - Downward Doug!
